LEE CHANHYUK通过第二张正规专辑《EROS》，继续走在独一无二的个人艺术道路上。 如果说首张正规专辑《ERROR》是以“自身走向死亡的过程”为线索展开的有机叙事，那么《EROS》则讲述了源于“他人之死”的故事。专辑以多种形式呈现了因失去珍视之人而加剧的内心空虚，以及LEE CHANHYUK面对这一切时的情感与态度。 他向那个曾追寻理想与真挚之爱的自己发出本源性的质问，也坦白了荧幕中虚假的笑容与泪水、虚伪的自我。他时而以自嘲的口吻宣称“明天爱就会彻底灭绝”，时而又坦言“哪怕只凭一丝爱意也能活下去”。 在这一过程中，LEE CHANHYUK逐渐领悟到由不完美构成的和谐世界。 愤怒与悲伤，对世界的遗憾，以及无法实现的梦想——正是所有这些缺失造就了今日的LEE CHANHYUK，并最终催生了这张专辑。 即便如《Vivid LaLa Love》所描绘的，被理想之爱主宰的“闪耀世界”无法降临，他依然传递着一个信念：渴望那份爱的心灵，正闪耀着光芒。 ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ LEE CHANHYUK continues to carve out his singular path as a solo artist with his second full-length album, [EROS]. While his first studio album [ERROR] portrayed the process of his own death through a cohesive narrative, [EROS] begins with the death of someone else. The album delves into the sense of emptiness intensified by the loss of a cherished presence, expressing LEE CHANHYUK’s emotional response and shifting perspectives through a wide range of forms. He raises fundamental questions to the self that once longed for pure and ideal love, confesses to the false smiles and tears, the fabricated identity shown on screen, and at times, delivers a cynical reflection - suggesting that love may go extinct by tomorrow. Yet in contrast, he also admits that even the faintest glimmer of love is enough reason to go on living. Through this emotional journey, LEE CHANHYUK comes to recognize a world that finds harmony in its very imperfection - where anger, sorrow, regret for the world, and unreachable dreams all coexist. These deficiencies not only define who he is today, but ultimately become the driving force behind this album. Even if a “brilliant world” dominated by ideal love like ‘Vivid LaLa Love’ may never come, he conveys that it is in the very desire for such a world that the light shines. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 이찬혁이 두 번째 정규 앨범 [EROS]로 독보적인 솔로 아티스트의 길을 이어간다. 정규 1집 [ERROR]에서 자신이 죽음에 이르는 과정을 유기적인 서사로 풀어냈다면, 이번 앨범 [EROS]는 ‘타인의 죽음’에서 출발한 이야기다. 소중한 존재의 상실로 증폭된 내면의 결핍과, 이를 마주한 이찬혁의 감정과 태도가 다양한 형태로 펼쳐진다. 이상적이고 진실된 사랑을 좇던 이에게 근원적인 질문을 던지기도 하고, 화면 속 거짓된 웃음과 눈물, 가식적인 자아를 실토하기도 한다. 내일이면 사랑이 완전히 멸종할 것이라며 자조적인 이야기를 건네기도, 때로는 한 줄기 사랑만으로도 살아갈 수 있다고 고백하기도 한다. 이찬혁은 그 과정에서 불완전함으로 조화로운 세상을 인지하게 된다. 분노와 슬픔, 세상에 대한 아쉬움, 이룰 수 없는 꿈. 이 모든 결핍이 지금의 이찬혁을 말하게 하고, 결국 이 앨범을 탄생시켰다. ’비비드라라러브’처럼 이상적 사랑이 지배하는 ‘빛나는 세상’은 오지 않더라도, 그것을 바라는 마음에는 빛이 난다고 그는 전한다. 01.
